What does BluMaru mean?
BluMaru is the combination of the words Blue and Maru. In Korea, the color blue is also often used to describe the color green. By cross-definition, blue also means young and fresh in Korean, just like new leaves on a tree.
There are several definitions for Maru in different languages, which include round, circle, gentle, etc. However, in ancient Korean, it means sky or heaven. So basically, BluMaru can be read as blue sky, blue heaven, young sky, blue circle, gentle youth, and maybe just BluMaru.
Regardless all these analytical definitions, she chose the name just because she liked how it rolled off her tongue, and its imaginative possibilities.
